Each cutting board we make begins with hand-selected hardwoods. Our boards are glued, shaped, sanded, and finished through a meticulous process that ensures lasting durability and a feel that’s as luxurious as it is beautiful. Every board is hand-sanded and finished with our own food-safe beeswax board butter — a reflection of the pride we take in craftsmanship and the joy of creating something truly personal.

Maple, cherry, sapele, and walnut are all perfect woods for cutting boards because they’re dense, durable hardwoods with tight grains that naturally resist moisture, bacteria, and warping. Their hardness makes them long-lasting, yet they’re still gentle enough on knives to prevent premature dulling. Each wood offers excellent structural stability, meaning the board won’t easily crack or cup, and their smooth, fine-grained surfaces make them ideal for food prep. Together, these species strike the perfect balance of strength, beauty, and kitchen-friendly performance—hallmarks of a high-quality, handcrafted board.

Our boards are thoughtfully made to be reversible—both sides available for cutting, or one side for display. Dedicate one side to fish or meat and the other to fruits and vegetables.
