The Luxury Fragrances We Use
Fragrance has long been a mysterious and mostly unregulated ingredient, and it is found in most every beauty, body care and household item we own. That is why we only use luxury fragrance oils (and ingredients) that are vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, toxin-free, mutagen-free, gluten-free, allergen-free, carcinogen-free and paraben-free.

The Wax We Use
USA-sourced premium coconut and soy waxes.

The Wood Wicks We Use
Wood sourced from FSC-certified mills in the USA for sustainability. Eco-friendly and clean burning.

Candle Care Guide

  • Printable Candle Care Guide
  • When lighting your wood wick, tilt the candle slightly and allow the flame to travel across the length of the wick.
  • Our hardwood candle trivet is a great way to protect surfaces. Always burn candle on a heat-resistant surface, within sight. Don't touch candle while hot.
  • The first burn is really important. Allow the wax to melt completely to the edge of the vessel before extinguishing. This usually takes about three hours in our 8 oz tins and 4 hours in our Luxury Glass candles.
  • Wax has memory. If the melt pool doesn’t reach the edges on the first burn, the candle may tunnel.
  • While establishing a full melt pool is important, burns longer than three hours may cause the vessel and wax to overheat, shortening the overall life of your candle.
  • Your candle wick has been initially trimmed to its ideal height. Wood wicks perform best when kept short, about 1/8 inch.
  • We recommend using wick trimmers. When trimming, remove any charred wood or loose bits before relighting.
  • Keep away from drafts, things that can catch fire, children and pets.
  • Stop burning candle when 1/2" of wax remains.
  • Wood wicks are a natural material - no two are exactly the same. This may cause variations in burn-time and how they burn.
